Recommended for the less experienced golfer and anyone keen
on practicing. The Golfodrome is Germanys biggest driving range complex,
offering more than 220 spaces for hitting off grass, 110 covered hitting mats,
21 hitting cages which can be heated in the winter, a 27-hole indoor putting
green, a 72-hole open-air putting green and areas for pitching and chipping.
Located adjacent to the driving ranges are the short Jagl and
Pfeiffer golf courses which are built on a hilly terrain and
surrounded by varied woodland. Both courses are ideal for practicing and
improving ones short game. There is also the so-called hackers
turf which may be used by players who do not have a Platzreife licence,
as long as they are accompanied by a licensed player.
The 9-hole Engled course is next door to the
Golfodrome training centre. The six par 3 holes and three par 4 holes of this
slightly hilly course will keep you challenged for around two hours. The
distance from tee to green measures between 105 and 260 metres for men and
between 92 and 243 metres for ladies. |
